Group therapy offers something quietly powerful: the chance to hear your own story reflected in others. In a small, confidential group, guided by a qualified systemic therapist, you begin to see patterns, connections, and new ways of understanding yourself.
Unlike one-to-one therapy, group work brings perspective. You witness how others manage similar feelings—grief, frustration, self-doubt, low mood—and realise you’re not alone in them. The room becomes a mirror and a sounding board.
At The Attainable Change, our groups run as closed programmes (the same people each week). Each has a clear focus—whether it’s navigating estrangement, living with low mood, or finding steadiness amid overwhelm. Groups meet in person on Sundays in Clerkenwell, offering a calm, reflective third space at the edge of the week.
Shared understanding – Listening to others can make your own experience easier to name.
Connection – Regular contact with others breaks isolation and builds genuine support.
Perspective – Hearing different stories helps you see options you may not have considered.
Affordability – Group sessions offer professional therapy at a lower cost than individual work.
Momentum – The weekly rhythm helps maintain accountability and focus.
Vulnerability – Speaking in front of others can feel exposing at first.
Pace – Groups move at a collective rhythm; personal themes unfold gradually.
Commitment – Attendance and participation matter; the safety of the group relies on consistency.
Each of these challenges can also be part of the work learning to stay present, to listen, and to be heard.
You may find this space helpful if you:
☐ Feel stuck, low, or disconnected but not in crisis.
☐ Want to understand recurring patterns in relationships.
☐ Feel isolated and want genuine, non-judgemental connection.
☐ Prefer reflective conversation to fast fixes.
☐ Are open to listening as much as speaking.
☐ Can commit to attending regularly and keeping the group confidential.
If you’re unsure, a brief consultation can help decide whether a group or individual work fits best.
New groups run throughout the year, each offering a focused space for reflection and change. If the current dates or topic don’t align, you can leave your details to hear about upcoming groups and one-off workshops.
You’re also welcome to check back here, new sessions are added regularly much through concerns aired by individual therapy clients
Whether you join now or later, these groups are designed to meet you where you are: thoughtful, human spaces to pause, reflect, and begin again.

The Sunday Space: When Life Feels Heavy – 6-Week Group
Life can start to feel like hard work. You get through the days, but something’s missing energy, purpose, connection. You may not call it depression, but you know you’re not yourself. This small reflective Sunday therapist-led group is for people who feel low, stuck, or quietly unhappy and want a space to talk about it honestly.
It’s not about quick fixes or advice. It’s about being heard, making sense of what’s happening, and finding steadier ground.
The group runs for six weeks from 9 November in Clerkenwell, with a two-week pause mid-way that includes a 45-minute individual session. If any of that feels familiar, reach out to book or ask a question there’s room for you here.
Max Participants: 10
Session Length: 3.30pm - 5pm // 1. 5hours
